What Inspired VIP Services?

VIP Services is the brain child of Anwar Rolle, son of the late Bahamian musician Tony Seymour Sr to whom Anwar owes his inspiration. Tony Seymour Sr. was the first Bahamian to receive a Gold Record for his rendition of 'Pretty Blue Eyes' in the early 1960's.

His Body of Work Can be Found in the 1960 Movie; Entitled: “Banana Boat Beat” in which he produced the entire sound track and stared next to Harry Belafonte; His Music is Also Featured in "After the Sunset” the Movie;  he is mentioned in the Book “Bob Marley and Me” written by Don Taylor who managed my father and  Bob Marley.  Learn more.

In the 1960’s Tony Seymour married the runner-up of the Ms. Bahamas Beauty Pageant- Ms. Gertrude Strachan,  and in that union they had 3 kids; Anthony, Sophia, and Anwar.

A message from Anwar Rolle, CEO of VIP Services:

VIP Services is geared toward providing quality entertainment like my forefathers. I long to hear the stories of days gone by, when our tourist entertainment was second to none. Our Bahamian stars such as Tony Seymour Sr, Smokey 007, Wendal Stuart, Ronnie Butler and many, many more gave you more than your money's worth. Their music resonates forever.

I feel it is my duty to keep my father's legacy alive, not only by providing memorable entertainment, but by providing proper benefits for our talented musicians. Through VIP Services, all staff has access to national insurance and pension plans for their health and well being.

This is the mission for VIP Services - to provide the best quality entertainment and entertainment services. With my over 10 years of experience in performing around the world and at all the major resorts in the Bahamas, I have the expertise to lead VIP Services in providing top quality entertainment services to our clientele.

About Anwar Rolle:

Anwar Rolle has toured the US with well known groups like Jodeci, H-Town, Mint Condition and many more. He has also toured Japan as a part of the Baha Men, spending some time in the Bahamas during that period. While in the Bahamas, Anwar performed nightly in Club Dragons at the Atlantis.

Later Anwar went on to form his own band called Caribe performing nightly at the Nassau Beach Hotel. He also provided bands and DJ's for Sandals, The Hilton and The Atlantis in the Bahamas. Anwar was also the main attraction for the Radisson Golf Resort.

A busy schedule not withstanding, Anwar has completed programs at York College in New York in Business Administration, Audio Engineering, Public Relations, and Effective Business Management and a Certificate Program at City Music School for the Performing Arts, majoring in Voice, Modern Piano and Guitar.

So he continues to perfect his voice by learning all instruments that accompany him.”

Anwar has recently formed a new company, Island Boy 4 Ever Entertainment Inc and toured with the NACA to over 300 campuses. Signed by IMC in New York, Anwar opens for some of the top acts in the business.

The Golden Boys and Girls Award:

The Golden Boys and Girls award was founded by Anwar Rolle. This award gives minority children who maintain a B average in school the opportunity to further their musical ambitions. It is a non profit award in honor of Anwar's father, the late Tony Seymour who was the first Bahamian entertainer to receive a gold record.

The recipients of this award are sent to a local music school with a scholarship, to enhance their craft.
